This unique piece of elm burl screamed for a different approach. As opposed to filling the river all the way to the top with a colored epoxy, this pour was done in 2 stages. A layer of blue/green epoxy was poured only 1/4” deep, then the remainder of the river was filled with clear epoxy. This allows you to see into the river and all of the amazing burl on the live edge. The table is finished with Rubio Monocoat, polished to a satin sheen. The modern metal legs comes with adjustable leveling feet.
