Everyone has that Star Wars fanatic in their life. When I was approached with the idea of a table like this, there's no way I could pass it up. In between two pieces of live edge ambrosia maple are Star Wars figurines. A thin brown epoxy layer was poured to replicate the desert floor. After that, my client got involved in the build process, and came to the shop to place all the figurines exactly where he wanted to recreate battles from his favorite Star Wars moments. Once it was all set, nearly 5 gallons of clear epoxy was needed to fill the 2" void and freeze his scenes in time.
